Happy Easter- We have HOPE!

 April message: His Love For Us Is Eternal

As we celebrate Easter and our risen Savior, it gives me the promised hope I need as I face each day without Bella. Our daughter passed away from cancer on April 6th, two weeks after turning 15 years old. It happened 8 years ago and at the time, I didn't think I could make it through the next hour without her but only God has given me the strength and faith to endure.

No matter your situation, God is there for you! He is alive, sees our pain, our tears, walks beside us and carries us when necessary. His love for us is eternal. 

In the movie "The Case for Christ" a former atheist Chicago Tribune journalist set out to investigate the resurrection of Jesus and believe it to be a myth. However, after extensive research, he concluded that Jesus is the Son of God, became a believer of Christianity and even a teaching Pastor at Woodlands Church in Houston Texas. Strobel has written over 40 books that have sold 18 million copies, including The Case for Faith, The Case for Grace, and The Case for Heaven.

If you have doubts, I encourage you to watch or read any of these powerful stories or watch The Chosen series. Many hearts have been changed by these stories and series because of the truth and love of Jesus! All Jesus wants is our heart; a personal relationship with Him.  

My encouragement to you during this holy season is to reflect on His sacrificial love and share this good news with others. And, if you aren't saved yet, do not wait to surrender your heart because none of us know when our last hour on earth will be. It is as simple as asking Him into your heart, to forgive your sins, believing that Jesus died on the cross for you and rose again so you can have eternal life. You will never be the same and you will know the difference. 

The disciple John wrote that "God is love." (1 John 4:16) Whoever lives in love lives in God and God in them. (1 John 4:16) and.... 

The Most Powerful Scripture In History: John 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

 As we approach retirement and close the nonprofit at the end of this year, we are continuing our partnership with the Osteosarcoma Institute in memory of Bella for better treatments and hopes of survival for others battling this rare and aggressive bone cancer. There hasn't been a new treatment in over 40 years. Since OSI's inception in 2017 they already have 2 clinical trials and their administrative salaries are covered by a private foundation.
