HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! May this year be filled with God's abundant blessings upon your life!

This will be our final year of our nonprofit, Angel Heart of Hope, as we will close in 2027 and transition to partnering with the Osteosarcoma Institute to research better treatments. There hasn't been a new drug for osteosarcoma in over 40 years and this is the type of cancer Bella fought so valiantly. The monthly message is: Entering the New Year with HOPE!

Every year we watch the New Year’s Eve show as we hear and see fireworks outside our window. Then, we bang pans and blow our horns as we ring in the New Year with gratitude and anticipation.

During the holidays, a man said hello to me outside the post office and I asked him how he was doing? He said "Great since Jesus saved my soul!" I said "Amen! He saved my soul too!" We wished each other a nice holiday and went our separate ways. I sat in my car pondering for a few minutes in amazement, the miracle of the birth of Jesus and how God sent Him as a free gift to save all of us from our sins so we can live eternally with Him free of pain, suffering, anxiety, depression, guilt, addiction, worry, etc..

There is something special about Christmas no matter who you are. It just feels magical and the whole world appears to pause for a moment. Everyone seems to be in better spirits and eager to extend kindness.

After Christmas, we approach New Year’s with hopeful resolutions, putting our past behind us and the excitement of a new year with new beginnings.

No matter what we’ve experienced or done in our past, when we trust Jesus for our salvation and receive the forgiveness offered through the cross, we become someone new filled with hope.

As we begin the New Year, let’s continue the Christmas spirit of sharing His transforming love. This gives us courage to live with a new identity and purpose as we extend this grace to others that we have received undeservingly.

Rejoice!  No matter what we face in the year ahead, we have hope in Jesus.
